As society becomes more technologically dependent, those who have not been taught even the very basics of technology start to fall behind. This digital divide makes it difficult for certain communities, particularly the elderly, to comfortably interact with society, ultimately leaving them behind and taking away their independence. This book aims to rectify that by explaining in simple terms how technology works and how anyone, including the reader, can learn and use it themselves.
I truly believe that this will significantly help the elderly community feel more included in society and give back independence of living. This could ultimately close the gap created by the digital divide and help society move forward, not leaving anyone behind.
