In my artworks inspired by the classic Chinese novel Journey to the West," I seek to transcend the boundaries of time and culture, creating visual tapestries that capture the spirit, essence, and profound emotions embedded within the narrative.

I aim to create works that transcend explicit representation, creating spaces for personal interpretations and allowing audiences to immerse themselves in the emotive power of colour. In doing so, I provide a space for viewers to engage with the essence of "Journey to the West" on a personal and subjective level, encouraging individual interpretations that resonate with their unique experiences and perspectives.

The use of colour becomes a narrative in itself, each hue and shade representing the emotional landscapes traversed by the characters. Through abstraction, I distil the essence of the narrative, inviting audiences to connect with the core emotions and themes of the story, fostering a sense of shared humanity.
