As a multi-disciplined designer I aim to challenge what's possible in both furniture ergonomics and wood working precision. As an artist I am drawn to the beauty of the synergy between form and function, and my work is a testament to that blend. Modular furniture and spatial ergonomics are key area's of focus for my work. I believe that design should not be static but should adapt every changing needs of it's users. The versatility and adaptability of modular furniture allows my work to cater to each individual user in that regard.
My dedication to sustainable design is exemplified by my use of reclaimed materials. Over 80% of my project is either recycled offcut panel pieces or reclaimed timber. I see the use of recycled and reclaimed materials not as a waste but a valuable resource giving my work that character and uniqueness all artists strive for.
